Bubba Jove is a 19 y.o. OTTB with previous EQ and Jumper training. He is put together pretty nice (a little long in the back) and is a nice looking old man. He has been well maintained throughout his life and we are thinking he wound up at auction because his owner may have traded him in to a dealer for a younger model. He is UTD on everything and just received a full vet exam. He has fused hocks, they do not cause pain but they do limit his range of motion a tad, therefore he won't be receiving great scores in a dressage ring. He was also scoped due to loud breathing. He has a large divit in his head where he must have had a previous accident, he has some inflammation in the sinus there that makes his breathing louder then most, he also sometimes has drainage from this nostril. It causes no discomfort to him and will not impeded his performance. It was also discovered that the left side of his larynx is a little slow to flip open thus creating a little bit more noise under heavy work. The vet has cleared Bubba to W,T,C and jump on occasion as tolerated. We are looking to place him with someone who wants a well schooled horse to hack around on and has no interest in moving on down the line. He is well schooled, knows his leads, picks up canter from halt, can maintain canter on a small circle, swaps leads, and jumps anything in front of him. |
